Oak Harbor, WA

First stop Oak Harbor WA for a tour of Cliff’s base where he was last stationed (and that’s him proudly pointing out “his” plane, the EA-6B), and a walk-thru of Cliff’s house.

Cliff and Mary had a long day that started with an early wake-up to leave the rest stop where they spent the first night. Getting through the Portland and Seattle traffic with the big rig was a challenge of patience but the reward was perfect weather in Oak Harbor. A trip through the base commissary for produce was followed by leisurely strolls in Coupeville and the Oak Harbor beach.

They’ll connect with the Queens in a couple of days in Prince George, British Columbia.
