Mammoth CA, a hiker’s paradise

May 31-June 3, 2016 – Mammoth CA is a gorgeous part of the eastern Sierras. Loaded with lakes, hiking, snow-capped mountain ranges and beautiful wildflowers, this is an area for those who are happy just to wander its expanse of trails.

We visited several lakes and Cliff, Ron and Donna fished at a couple. In search of the illusive beaver, we trekked up McGee Creek and got seriously distracted by all the new flower growth and the beauty of the mountains before and behind us. Lunch at the creek with ice cream after at Convict Lake – perfect day.
