May 29, 2016 – One of the first things we did during this week of exploration and testing our rigs in anticipation of our longer summer trip was to visit the old ghost town of Bodie CA. A moment in time captured to the delight of tourists, explorers and wanna-be archaeologists, this fascinating deserted city was incredibly interesting to wander.

One can walk up to the many intact windows in the buildings and peer inside to see the belongings left untouched. We wandered the whole afternoon, marveling at the lifestyle of decades passed and appreciating the great condition of everything that remains.
